Never been recognised, but have had the pleasure of meeting someone who I "could" very easily met in a working environment! And yes, if I did not know she was on here, would have still fancied the pants off her! |

Slightly different take on this thread.
We've seen a couple of people on the site who we know in real life but don't think they realised who we were.
We flirted with one of them but he was a bit standoffish.

Being recognised doesn't bother me now, it's happened three times and they are here for the same reasons as me. Most recently I was recognised in chat by my uncle. Now we always have a laugh in the chat room |

my hubby is a security guard at a shop and he has recognised people off 3 profiles on this site, he has chatted regually and had a laugth with them in the shop and they know him well from the shop but he has never mentioned to them about being on this site and knowing they are, he said its quiet funny seeing them and knowing what they look like naked etc |

We've had very similar. Got a message from a guy who we'd previously said no to as he was to young and local to us, and he told us, no worries I'll say hello to you at school then. (Named school so knew he wasn't bluffing). Won't tell us who he is, but evidently saw our pics through some kind sole who's on our friends list showing him, nice eh!!! We are so careful with our face pics and was really annoyed, put an update on at the time hoping that said person would own up, but no.  |

It is against chat room rules to put in an address even street name so he was lucky to not get a ban. I'm guessing you wont be planning to use his sklls again in the future.
On an other note I have seen an ex-work colleague on fab but we haven't spoken yet. |

I was messaged by someone whom did not recognise me, and should not be here (IMHO, and I know I am being judgemental), and I revealed my identity to him.
He hinted that we were both in compromising situations, and I reminded him I was single and had every right to be here, unlike him, who was married and playing away etc...
And he left.
It happened a couple of years ago, and I never said a word to his unfortunate other half.
I had to distance myself from her and her family, which pains me to this day, as I liked her very much. I did this because I believe it would be wrong for me to be close to her and not tell her about her husband's indiscretion. 
I was recognised by an ex-colleague who was kind of surprised to find me here. We just acknowledged each other's existence and went our separate ways.

Mine was a little different, I was staying at my foster brothers while I was flat hunting. One day I was working a 24 hour shift and had forgot to take my mobile with me. My brother nosed through it. I was still logged on to fab, he then took my phone and showed my sister lol. |

We were both shopping in asda once , this guy ( quite cute too  ) sort of was shopping close by was looking at me with an almost puzzled look , he asked if he could speak with us , we said yes what about , he just said " I, m sure I recognise you " ,me and hubby thought he must mean from fab , but he then said ...." Why not? We both happen to be here, have lots of mutual friends and both use the same chat room regularly. Don't you think it would be rather odd if we didn't talk? Besides, chat rooms are in my experience a lot of fun and are not much different to having a laugh with your mates in the pub |

We have met 2 couples where I went to school with the female half. I know of another female again from school that is on another site.

Back in our early days we met a couple that Mrs N knew before. We still see them now and again in the local supermarket. Lovely wicked thoughts whenever I see them and remember what we got up too.
Another experience we've had is new local people join the site, say Hi and ask for your face piccy. They disappear soon after and you just get a nasty feeling they are fishing to see if the know you. Don't like that. It's very sneaky and Devious. |

I turned up to meet a couple once. We had swapped pics and agreed a time. As soon as I walked through the door I recognised her as someone I used to work with 5 years previously. She instantly recognised me as well. After some awkward chat I eventually said "didn't we work together". We discussed whether we should just leave there, but we all agreed that as we were all adults..... I still meet them from time to time |

We saw a guy that we've regularly played with at Chams recently in our local supermarket. Obviously as he was with his family, it would never occur to us to say anything. As it was, we both gently ignored each other.
There's also a couple who run a shop in the town but other than making hints to him regarding Monday nights, we haven't taken it further.

Best yet......my g/f used to be into swinging with her ex. She had a picture ad in a contact mag (remember them?). Although face was obscured she was recognised from the wallpaper and picture in the background....... by her rather randy mother who read the ads with her lover! My g/f was mortified but her mum laughed it off.....although disagreed with her being bi.
On another occasion we had a reply from a guy I know from football (he didnt know it was us when he replied) and we agreed to share id's so that neither of us had an advantage over the other. Thats the only fair way. |
