I would like to think I can recognise a fake account because I have been using this site and others (on and off) for about 20 years.
However, this week, I have been stood up, let down & ghosted three times, all by separate accounts & all couples.
What the hell is going on? How did it get into this sorry state? |

I've been here 9 years and never had a no show or been one and I've never been ghosted so I genuinely don't understand threads like these claiming it is rife or blaming the site itself.
I'm not the only one to have avoided these issues based on comments from many others in previous threads.
I have no idea how others engage with people but I do know for a fact that my experience has nothing to do with luck and everything to do with due diligence. |

I have been having been on this for 14 years and it's definitely getting worse. Being ghosted and stood up is so common now I have given up trying to meet couples. I changed my status to straight where I'm actually bi single female. |

I had ghosts 5 times in just over a week very recently. It's easy to just say, I'm bowing out here. I don't take offence. I've done it myself.
It's a hit but mostly makes me want to take a break from here cos it's pretty regular and I seem to be bad at noticing them lol |
