I've historically kept my message filters open as I'm usually happy to chat to most folks. Of late I've had someone effectively body shame me because I don't fit in with his narrow mindset of what a man should look like, so I've taken the decision to block men from messaging - I really don't need that crap in my life, my self image is fragile enough thank you.

Fucking alpha male types 🤬

That's a shame.

If it affects you negatively then blocking all men is probably best. I hope you blocked him too or he'll still be able to message

Just checked out your profile - Nothing bad about how you look. You have quite a good body. If he wasn't into why message you?

Because I posted on a thread of training what works for you, he steamed in with no background or understanding of me. Had to be his way as he's a PT

Good PTs value their advice and don’t stream in giving it out for free.sounds like another insecure man who is fighting his self loathing at the gym.

Block him but I don’t see why you should have to cut off being able to talk to the many many decent guys on here cause of one plonker.

I have no idea why anyone would want to "body shame" anyone. You have a lovely body. Anyway, I hope you're getting less hassle.

I enjoyed your pics. Especially the rebreather one, unusual for this site.

Thanks, the pic of me on my box of death/debt (strike which not applicable) was I admit pre COVID, but does at least show a little of my character (adventurous, exploratory but also very good at risk mitigation)

Yeah, I've had some experience with Dräger scr and Inspiration ccr. I tend to go on the "snorkel simulator' more these days.

Tried a Hollis escr, that was odd it'd dump gas and add it at bizarre times really buggering your buoyancy that you just got settled from the last round of dump and add.

CCR in pic was a sentinel pre vr tech going bust. Managed to sell it went back to oc for a year then bought a redbare, sold that after COVID when realising my skill based had fallen off a cliff and boat charter/gas/lime costs were going silly, calculated I'd need to spend about £500 a month to get sufficient diving in to justify keeping it - so many other things I could do with that money, also VMS sold their rebreather business to nammutec who I knew nothing about other than they were developing their own ccr - time to shift it.

So I just do the occasional single cylinder oc dive now.
