Making friendships in swinging

We don’t consider ourselves hardcore swingers, but have been around the scene a while now and have made relationships with people that we now consider real friends.
Just recently I called a couple we know to more or less say “we aren’t after play but could you come help us move a fridge freezer?” They didn’t hesitate and spent their evening helping us lol
I just wondered if others have built friendships within the scene that extend outside of it, or do you keep the two worlds separate? |

I try and keep them separate tbh but on occasion there’s been some overlap.
Normally find that outside the lifestyle we don’t have that much in common (or maybe I’m just boring !! 😆) |

Yes we have, great to have a friendship with couples in the lifestyle where we can discuss the lifestyle openly as well as normal vanilla subjects too |

"We have people we've met that sometimes it's sexual, sometimes it's just meeting as friends....altogether or separately.
It's nice and it works for us.
Never moved a fridge freezer though lol. "

We are very lucky that out of the hundreds of people we have met, we have forged friendships with a few couples and single, and meet them socially occasionally without any expectation of sex. Swinging is no different from vanilla life in that you connect with some people and with others you don't. |

... Thankfully I have made good friends from my GH .. I now have good friends who use too or still do use my services..
All call me periodically to chat and or have a good laugh or to get released..
1 has fixed some handyman stuff for me.. ones helped with my car.. and the reason all keep coming back is they not only like me as a person.. BUT love they can talk so open .. about anything .. without guilt or any form of restriction... which they can't do at home... or with their other male friends.
So good to have those friends even if it just started as me sucking them, to release stress.

That’s what we like about it, that you can be totally open about things.
Like today, work friends ask “how was the weekend” and I just have to say normal, but with swing friends you can be honest and say “we had a killer party at our place, everyone was doing XYZ, it was amazing”

Swinger activities should be sociable too, so you can make friends and meet up outside of parties etc.
The best ans safest way to meet like minded people is to come to a party.

We’ve found some couples through swinging who have become firm friends we talk most days and do social things with no play as well times we meet for play. It’s refreshing to have friends we can be completely open with about all aspects  |

My best and closest friends are people I have met through fab both male and female.
I was also at a party years ago in a house that the hosts had built themselves and even though I didn't know any of them until that night, most of the others there had helped them with tiling or woodwork or painting so it's not unusual. |

Slightly off topic a bit, rather than have friends that we play and spend our free time with we’d like to get to know other couples in the U.K. so for example, if we’re in Glasgow for whatever we can meet up with them for some fun. |
