Yes, they do. They think they're getting one up on the wife and that the man prefers them or they're giving him something his wife won't or can't.

This is my only issue in this lifestyle, my man can meet whoever with my permission as long as I know about it first and the woman knows I know. Sex is fun and natural, but secrets isn’t and I can’t stand a woman feeling like she has a one up on me. If she is disrespectful towards me then my partner avoids. X |

Some do, some don't.
Personally I think the ones that do are lower than a snakes belly especially when they say "their personal life has nothing to do with me, I'm not the one who's married etc etc etc....

I said I'm not the one for him if he's not happy to be seen with me in Costa or something.
