It can't just be me who gets the same or very similar messages over and over again from the same people. They don't get a reply and think spamming will change my mind?
I feel a serious blocking frenzy coming on.
Seriously, why do they do this? Why do they ignore the warning message every time they send another message without getting a reply? Do they think it's sweet? Or endearing? Or their persistence will turn me to jelly?
No, it just tells me they can't respect a choice not to reply, so why would they respect any other decision I made? |

Who knows, but when putting yourself on an open forum you have to expect the unwanted.
Surely if you say no to them its job done. They will stop. If not hit the block button

We often use the block function as a general purpose filter.
If we don't want to play with you, and the situation isn't going to change, why not remove ourselves from your consideration and you from ours. |

I've a few regulars in my inbox that are up to like 10 unopened messages, I haven't opened the 1st message so beats me why they think I'm going to open 10 off them...maybe they think they can grind us down and we will relent in the end and answer them lol |

Maybe they thought you didn't see their first message? As some women get loads of messages, apparently the messages at the bottom may no longer be accessible if there are too many messages in the inbox.
Try deleting rather than leaving on unread, but also just block and move on if you're not interested in them. I don't think there is a limit to how long your block list can be. |

I think it's more to do with the fact you've either not read, or deleted, their first message(s) - so by sending another it automatically moves them to the top of your inbox so increases the chances you'll see it/read it/possibly reply this time. |

We get that a lot, we try to be nice to people if we are meeting but it’s almost as if they think they will bully you into meeting with them ! |
