Profiles with no veris for a year or more?

It confuses us that we have so many messages from profiles that have had no verifications for a year or more, funny how none have actually come to anything
How recent do you want to see a verification to enter in to conversation?? |

Personally I don't look at the length of time from last veri
Take myself for example my last veri says 12 months ago but I've actually met people since then such as people I've met previously so no need to reverify or people who have no interest in doing verifications |

I do like a bit of a nosey of verifications....but I can also be a little curious as to why someone who's been on here for a year or more doesn't have any....it's more a case of confirming the true identity of the person as I've come across some obvious fakes on here.
Not all my meets have done verifications as there has not felt the need to do one....
Or they have been forgettable fucks on occasion.... |

I don’t really pay attention to them anymore, if they’re verified I know the chances of them being fake are lessened and that’s what matters.
Perhaps those who are verified but haven’t received a new one in a while have a regular fwb - I know I don’t expect or need a verification every time I meet mine. |

Maybe some of us are fussy and have standards. I could certainly get more verifications if I was the kind of guy that would shag a barbers floor but well that just isn't me. The hot ladies are inundated so getting your messages seen and replied to is a tough enough ask never mind actually meeting them asking for a verification. If you aren't into going to clubs or live in the city it's extremely tricky to get verifications if you are in any way fussy. It's very much a numbers game in here and in more rural areas of Scotland there is literally zero pickings, never mind getting verifications.
In addition tbh, a list of verifications is really off putting.. yes it's a sex site and despite many people's best efforts to try and portray themselves as not shagging about on their profiles 'not wanting to shag the whole site' etc that's exactly what they are doing when you read the verifications.. lol.. "looking for a regular Feb" yet their veris which they select to be displayed says they shagged different people every 4 days .. commical .. |

Seeing verifications gives a reassurance people are real. I also like to have a nosy through veri’s to see if I might be the type of guy the women I’m looking at go for. I would still message someone with no veri’s but I’d be hesitant to arrange anything until they had proved they are genuine. |

People with verifications can still be assholes. You've really got to actually have chat and get to a meet to see for yourself.
They are however really helpful in finding the red flags if you follow the trail. |

People may have met up with existing friends in the last year and not verify each other every time they meet (that applies to us). Many profiles have recent fake verifications. It's up to the individual to judge whether a profile is real, following the verification trail helps. |

My last verification is from early last year but believe me I do try and arrange meets but just can't seem to get any,so even though I have verifications I can understand it might put people off because it's from quite a while ago |

Yeah another reason I have chosen to remove mine from display is I’ve had guys message someone I’ve met to see if they can “tag team”…. Just bypassing my own needs wants or consent |

Why do people put so much emphasis on someone else's opinion in a verification regardless of when it was written?
Are we really that lazy that we can't be arsed talking to people and forming our own ideas about them or would that then remove the ability to whinge when they don't turn up or aren't as amazing as TripAdvisor assured us they would be? |

We very rarely read verifications but we also won't meet anyone without a meet verification in the past twelve months. That nothing to do with them proving themselves genuine or anything, but more to prove that they do leave the house and meet and aren't just getting off on arranging meets they never turn up to.
The two common denominators in our no-shows are (a) no meet verifications and (b) over 50miles away.

Not all meets are via FAB or with people on here.
We use other social media, which to be honest is more successful than here.
Veri's aren't everything. Obviously it helps to see if the person/couple exists but, veri's can be made up at the end of the day.

Veris could be faked, but it doesn't look to be really simple, as a veri needs to be from a separate username with a separate IP address/computer.
We have to say the only 'couples' who have really messed us about/failed to come to an arranged meeting are the ones who have no verifications. |

Haven’t met anyone from here in that time frame. Without the lack of trying. But women/couples have messaged but not confirmed to a meet.
Equally in that time frame life has been crazy from changing jobs, houses, growing family.
I don’t see veris as that useful, still had no shows from those verified |

some folk choose not to show verifications , some have had half a dozen very genuine ones but if the profile that left the veri leave the site , the veri leaves with it.
i think good communication prior to a meet more useful than a veri. |
