I got an email from a couple the other day saying "you need to contact us!" and that was it.
Initially, I was worried, cos it sounded like someone i know in everyday life had discovered I was on here, then I thought it could be long lost friends or family, but they were white.
It turns out it was just their way of saying hi. Very confident, which is good.
Has anyone had this or messages in a similar vein? |

We can't be bothered with emails that are obviously created in mind with the teachings of David deangelo

You reckon that's what it was, some NLP stuff? Well I guess you can't fault them for not doing their research before getting on here |

What if I message someone saying that I'm in Sierra Leone and I need their help in securing some funds from a Swiss bank account left to me by my wealthy step-father General Anongu who has recently passed away, all I need is their bank account number, sort code and name of their first pet? |

No problem. You want the details on here or should I pm them? |

Best do it in PM, there's a lot of dodgy people out there who will try and acquire your personal banking details for their own dastardly ends! |

This sort of thing happens a fair bit.
Messages that seem to be part of a previous (non-existant!) conversation, those saying "Thanks for the wink/friends invite/message" when there hasn't been one, or just a message saying "Hi - it's (insert name here) - this is my new profile, can you verify me from when we met before".
All with the aim of illiciting a response. Some get away with it - but I suspect the majority of others are confined to the trash can without a seconds thought! |

I get things like this
' Oh wow you looked good the other day when I saw you'
Similar to that too
Interesting way to get people to respond but also v creepy so they get blocked straight after |

I would say the name of my pet is not my security question and proceed to give them the correct security question and answer! |

You do need to contact me though
It's an emergency
Another emergency here!!!
Hahha, what could this emergency possibly be?!"
Well I could do with some mouth to mouth and chest massage, don't know about the others. |
