That's sound great a quick message back to say no thanks.
But in reality most guys don't just leave it at that, you normally end up back and forward for a few message with them trying to convince you they are the best coxk you will ever meet, before we are forced to block them.
Hence the no reply its not personal it's just easier than rolling the dice on whether you get a pest or not xx{¬zIw=¬}x |

I've given up on the messaging part. Last profile I think I messaged everyone, no idea. Like that if people aren't interest they arnt interested. I suppose it's like being straight and a fella messaging you. This year I'm just going to attend socials and meet people. I have no experience so I'll just see what happens. I attended one last year and the people were amazing, alot different than how they may appear online. Alot of the problem is that there is just alot of crap, in genuine people. That you could be one of 100 messages. But yes, some sort of a reply would be nice, but just have to put our self in their shoes. |

"Why should someone reply with "no thanks"??
Do you reply to every unsolicited piece of mail either on here or in real life that you recieve OP??"
I had a reply this week saying 'sorry, not for us' I was actually pleased that someone bothered to say it rather than leave me hanging |

I think the reason most don't reply back is because it usually tends to lead to "oh but why not...etc etc. |

100% agree with this, many try ti change your mind or get abusive. Generally if someone has made an genuine effort but it's not a match we will reply, if it's a generic message or contains no effort we don't see the point in replying. |

Why though? Some replies back are even abusive. No-one deserves that for just not being interested in someone.
Maybe the ones complaining about getting no responses should delete their sent messages... |

In all seriousness, a lot of profiles indicate what they are after, what they are about.
If someone then messages who you feel hasn’t read your profile then why would you waste your time replying?

"Just a bit rude tho especially if you’ve been polite in the first place
It's not rude if they haven't shown any interest in you. "
That’s fine but If you said hello to somebody in street or pub and they ignored you would you think they were being rude that’s all because it’s behind a screen is it still acceptable? I’m not being rude lol just asking |

Unfortunately, fåir måiden, most senders of handcrafted messages deal with opacity, and therefore remain perpetually perplexed. |

I just thought you get so many messages of blokes you get lost in the system "
Not really. I read the preview of most if not all messages - if that doesn’t grab me I’m not going to waste time opening it. |

In general if not deleted, I've not ruled them out "
Ok interesting what’s best to message again to jog memory or wait for a reply? X |

Just because someone opens your message it doesn't mean you've grabbed their attention. Women and couples on here often get more messages in a day than it's possible to reply to in a day.
Couple that with the fact that half of the single men on here simply cannot take "no" for an answer and quite often sent vile abuse back when they're told no (it happens daily), if someone isn't what you're looking for then it's simply not worth the time, or the risk of abuse, in replying to the message |

We don’t believe we’re being rude by ignoring or deleting messages from someone who has ignored what we have written on our profile and messages us anyway |

My dear fellow, it's best that you message them to ask them if it's okay to message them again. |

No one has mentioned, Fab rules state, no reply = no thankyou or not interested.
Sometimes, I'll open a message, and not reply, as I want to show / talk to Mr before I / we reply.
No - we don't need any replies or offers by dm from this thead. Not playing until March ish. |

I’ll give men a life changing simple piece of advice on how to handle fab mailbox.
Guys that I have told this to , many have said to me later that it completely altered their vibe / feeling when using the sites messaging .
Simply just delete your messages from sent messages immediately after sending them as that way you will not be able to constantly to check if someone has read / deleted / ignored .
This lets you just carry on with fab without being drawn to this issue and getting bent out of shape
Enjoy this simple effective method |

It's pretty simple - no reply, not interested, both parties move on.
If they did reply "thanks but no thanks" - a lot of people can't take rejection so it'd end up in a ping pong "well, why not?" type situation.
The majority of profiles do list explicitly what they're after and even if you feel you tick the boxes, they might not feel you do.
It's nothing personal. |

This is what I did as a single guy on here - I didn’t know if they had opened it and then wonder what they were thinking so forgot about it - if I got replies, it was a bonus. If I didn’t no bother.
It really is the best way to deal with messages as a guy.
I would also add that make sure your profile and pics are decent as I’d say most people, before they’ve looked at the message, will check out your profile and pics and decide before looking at the message whether it’s worth opening or not. It’s what we do and what a lot of people I speak to do too.

I'm genuinely curious: how are you able to discern that the OP is sending "unsolicited piece(s) of mail"...? |
