What do people feel worse about...your message unread,or read and not replied to?
Im referring to a polite sent message, fulfilling all the criteria the member has asked for and yes i get the old chestnut some of you are so popular you cant possibly reply to everyone!!
Im just meaning which feels worse to others..unread or ignored? |

I feel your pain! It happens to the best of us… it does make me think what are they looking for on here in the first place if they don’t respond?
I like the ones that say single guys we will find you |

Unfortunately a lot of guys see a reply of no thanks as a way to try and change people's minds and they won't take no for an answer
If they are rude or we have no interest in them we don't reply anymore
A polite well written message will always get a polite response |

I am of an age that I don’t worry about it.
I learnt many years ago to only worry about what was in my control. A reply from someone else is far from in my control.
So if I receive a reply, absolutely wonderful whether that be a yes or a no.
But if no reply, move on, for whatever reason you are not what they are looking for.
Relax, this is supposed to be fun and not a site to raise your blood pressure just through an unopened message or no reply.
It makes you enjoy more. Those who kindly reply with a no, or those who would like to know more.

This exactly for us too. A reply of no thanks to a message often seems to be read as a green light to try and further the conversation or change our minds. It usually ends up in a block. |

When I first joined fab many profiles ago it used to bother me. But you just look and move on. If my message has been looked at and deleted I just block and delete so as not to bother them again, saves wasting both our time. |

A lot on here, women and couples, get so many messages that to them unread is the norm. They will also not reply to any they’re not interested in, just too busy. As a guy, an older guy too, I’m not in the same boat and will always respond politely to whoever gets in touch, no matter how crude the approach. My attitude is never get angry for any reason, helps no one! |

That’s a very good strategy! |

It's often nothing to do with the volume of messages people receive.
Many will view the profile of the sender before even opening a message.
If more people put as much effort into how they create their profiles as they do co strutting a good message, then they might find more get read and more get replied to.
The greatest message in the history of all messages will go unread if there's not enough in the senders visuals and profile text to spark interest and attraction. 🤷♂️ |

Neither I don’t care. It’s just a message sent. They’ll reply if they wish at some point.
Save yourself hassle by deleting sent message mailbox |
