I’ve been on this site for years and love the banter. My partner of 22years passed away last year and now I’m betwixed and between enjoying my sex life but I’m still grieving that in turn creates guilt. I miss the affection and yearn to kiss hug snuggle with. Anyone else going through the same thing? |

Firstly I'm very sorry that your wife has passed away.
I'm lucky in that I have no experience of your situation but have watched my father go through it. I think the need for human physical contact never goes away and grief doesn't diminish it. Guilt is another thing altogether and I can't tell you not to feel it, but you shouldn't

Hooe you can find something for yourself between the need for affection and validation and any guilt too , a have a situation myself and hence why I’m on here a hope you find something and peece for yourself too m8 |

not sure if this helps, my nan died years ago, and my grandad pretty much just gave up and passed away a few months after, i always thought of course hes always going to miss her but surely she'd have wanted him to carry on and be happy |
