Hello, we are off to Manchester for a weekend in Feb. We are staying in a nice hotel in Picadilly and would like to meet a nice young man to join us for the evening. We prefer not to meet in the hotel initially, but go back there if we get on well. Can anyone recommend a decent bar close to Picadilly Station ( ish ) where we could arrange meet and chat and joy a few glasses of fizz. Mrs Ice is classy and like a nice bar without it being over the top. Alternatively, if there are any good bars where Mrs Ice will enjoy being chatted up they are welcome too. Have a look at the King St townhouse hotel (has a lovely quite small bar open to non residents) or the Kimpton clocktower hotel (bar is bigger and can get quite busy, but impressive building and cocktail list) |
