"I'm straight and happy to meet couples with bi fems, as long as they're happy to play straight. I'm half a couple and we've had couples initially say that's cool, they're happy for partner swap only. Then later in chat try to change my mind and ask will I kiss their Mrs or touch her etc. We block at that point as it's clear they won't respect our boundaries. My other half can be orally bi with the right couple and we've been open and honest about that on our bio. Someone being bi wouldn't put me off, but someone who either lies about their intentions or won't accept that I'm straight does. " Yes, that! We have experienced that in a male dominance aspect, trying to put hands around my throat or verbally humiliate D while fucking me.. Both instances were quickly dealt with!

"We prefer to meet with couples with a straight male because me, the male, finds it quite a turn off if the bloke seems to be enjoying watching me more than el Having said that we have met a couple with a bi male and he didn't cross that line at all so perhaps it's unfair of us " Hadn't actually considered that, fair! D is 100% about the women, he's just my kinky man 😄👍 You're utterly entitled to your preference, the question was never to say either side are right but kudos to you for being open on it and him for respecting your boundaries! I think its all about the individual person rather than their sexuality. Some just don't respect others and the way they play unfortunately..

"There is certainly a stigma attached to bisexual men (I’m talking in generalised terms, not that everyone is of this mindset!) Bi women are seen as sexy Bi men are treated with caution - greedy, don’t know what they really want, closet gay who wants the hubby more than the wife, etc etc you get my drift. " Agree in essence. D will never tell his friends (a few do know of us swinging though) or work colleagues, it's his business and there's very few know of my bisexuality too. Many single guys will understandably state straight on Fab so as to not reduce the already stacked odds of some 'success' here even further, then probably set up a fab guys account too 😉 Ironically regarding crossing boundaries, we've found women far more likely..

"It's one thing I've always found tricky in what do I set my profile to on here. If there was a hetero flexible option, that would be perfect for me! Great forum topic, and only one of two I've actually commented on before. The other was is pesto gross, and the answer was it's fucking disgusting 😂" Lost us now!! Like pesto 🤫🤣

"Does it matter? As long as everyone's boundaries are respected and it is all consensual, then sexuality shouldn't really be an issue. We play bi and we play straight, we would never cross any lines and always discuss what everyone is happy with. " Not to us, but to many it seems, yes. But as said it's absolutely their choice and we have zero desire to change that as we stated initially, just curious why some may avoid bi couples. 👍

"As long as boundaries are respected it shouldn't matter but as we've had issues twice with bi guys it does make us wary. Doesn't stop us playing with bi people but it has made us less relaxed in these situations." Very understandable, sorry you've experienced that. Had similar when D was excluded from playing 🤬 Not bi related I must add though, he's under strict instructions to stop play if it happens again, he didn't because he knew I was enjoying myself, but we both felt crap after.. x

"I think this is where hetero flexibility needs to be an option on here. I think if you know what you like, ie. comfortably playing orally, and nothing more with an M as part of a couple, then maybe you're not bi-curious, as there is a clear boundary of play. Bisexual then, if you also have an attraction to the M, and single guys in general. Sure, makes sense. I feel as a single guy on here, who has no sexual attraction to males, but happy to play flexibly up to a point, neither bi-curious or bisexual cover off my openness to different forms of play, whilst accurately capturing my sexuality. However the stigma attached to more open forms of play, can put some couples off. No straights! No Bi! Are all too frequent on profiles here. In my view, comments like that are narrow-minded, perhaps ignorant, and display limited emotional intelligence. I think hetero flexible is the sweet spot. Sexual attraction to females, no sexual attraction to males, but comfortable touching and being touched by either sex. As long as boundaries are communicated, who cares? Just a shame some people do. Thank you for coming to my TED Talk 😅" In my view, I wouldn't call individuals who have preferences and know what they enjoy ignorant or have limit emotional intelligence. People can say the same about you, no? Being narrow minded that some people like to play straight..

" We’re both bi. We’ve played with all combinations without any issues provided a discussion is had beforehand. There’s some fear with straight guys that ALL bi guys will want to jump on them, without considering things like attraction etc. " Hi Guys! Yup! 👍

Being narrow minded that some people like to play straight.. " People can say what they want to about me, absolutely. I'm sure many do 😂 But are you implying someone who is bi can't play straight? If your preference is no bi guys, it sounds like you're making an assumption that a bi guy isn't able to control themselves. Bi people can play straight, the clue is kind of in the name. So that exclusion isn't a preference to me, it's a prejudice. There's a clear distinction between the two.

"I consider myself straight but do find some women attractive, and in the right setting would have been open to kissing etc if sharing a guy. However, the pushiness, disrespect, and people thinking they know better… usually from couples… has led me to pretty much bin that and not bother with it. I’d rather just enjoy what I know and like." "C is bi so we have no problem with ladies being bi. I’m straight so would prefer to play alongside another straight guy. I like to feel relaxed when we all play and there’s no cross-over of boundaries or any potential of. So I wouldn’t enjoy it if the guy suddenly became fixated on what I was packing rather than C. Once we are comfortable with people a big part of inviting another gent is DVP and our swords definitely have to touch then. So again I’d want all thoughts of pleasure on C. We want to fully let go during sex so having your mind solely on pleasure over the potential of there being any potential mixed thoughts is always better. K" Mentioned previously, a discomfort of another guy being more focused on the male.. Unsure how often that's the case, but again upfront communication and unwaivering respect of boundaries to allow all to otherwise "let go" 👍

"We have found in the past that other couples won't want to play with us because I (mr) openly put I am bi. I am more than happy to have a completely straight - no MM stuff at all meet and im super happy with that. MM fun is only fun when both want to enjoy it. We've even had couples say its weird that mrs isn't bi but I am Honestly I'd rather be up front about it because if people are going to judge me for it then I don't really want to meet them anyway, plenty of men/couples on fab who do understand it and are happy so they are the ones we want to talk to 😊" That sums up our feelings well, not necessary or a deal breaker. More than happy to play straight (and honestly that's been the case since we started) 👍

So I would ask you to explain something for me so perhaps I can become a better, more informed person. I personally couldn't have sex with someone I didn't find attractive, but I accept that you and many others can - I often wonder if that is a key factor in being straight. If two men have sex, how is it not gay sex? Surely it's who you have sex with that determines your sexuality, not who you're attracted to. This is what I'm struggling with and would very much like to understand how the lack of attraction negates the act of two men having sex. In regards to the op, we consider ourselves very intuitive and we have always agreed on our feelings for the guys that we have met from here and irl. If we trust them, we trust them and wouldn't have any qualms in meeting with a bisexual guy. K.

I described people who are performatively exclusionary to bisexual males, based on the idea that bi males will always want to fuck the M of a couple. When that is not the case. So, I think you missed the point of my post. But sexuality is not solely definitive of who you engage in sexual acts with. It's could be indicative (not always) of who you may be romantically or sexually attracted too. Also, deriving pleasure from an act, doesn't determine your sexuality. If a lesbian uses a dildo, it doesn't mean they want dick. What I'm saying is sexuality and sex is far more nuanced and complex than some people would like to accept, or often discuss on here. Thanks for the reply and block though 😊

"We may add that the definition of gay/bisexual is the romantic attraction to the same/either sex. As NorthernNights points out it does not mention deriving physical pleasure from, but that's purely our understanding and we know it's potentially not a popular one 👊 " Thanks. This is what I meant Are you guys free to diplomatically review and re-write my replies on here 😅 I'm genuinely not trying to trigger people, and love open discussion, even with maybe opposing ideas. "OP, This is a topic that deserves debate, so kudos for raising it. There is no doubt, when I see a couples profile and the male is listed as ‘bi’ or ‘bi-curious’ it does give me pause for thought. Is this guy going to respect my boundaries or will he just try it on? If I thought my preferences would be respected I would meet a couple with a bi male. Clearly I am not what you are looking for, but if I was, the line: ‘other than that we’ve few limits…’ would put me off from contacting you. Fickle, capricious - absolutely, but that’s Fab. " Thank you for the positive thoughts! And yes debate and understanding, not assumed reactions. Your second paragraph highlights thoughts of many we feel, but have no disagreement to offer there, hence the thread.. Intrigued as to why the no limits would worry, that was written prior to us/D even considering bi play, but will add that quote without the rest of the statement is a touch out of context, but we will reconsider the section 👍

"We avoid bi gentlemen simply because the health risks are too great Has seen this mentioned, but how so? What risks are elevated above straight/bi fem play?" The chances for transmission of STIs and BBVs is higher through anal play as the tissue is more friable and likely to create the micro tears needed for transmission x

Meets that we’ve had have been successful as the boundaries are set, though I will say that it’s happened on more then one occasion where the str8 male has played with us too! That’s fine also as long as it’s initiated by the str8 male" That is a completely different perspective and a telling one. Thank you guys! 👍

"We avoid bi gentlemen simply because the health risks are too great Has seen this mentioned, but how so? What risks are elevated above straight/bi fem play? The chances for transmission of STIs and BBVs is higher through anal play as the tissue is more friable and likely to create the micro tears needed for transmission x" You do know that women have bums as well..?? 😉

"as a bi woman with a bi husband and both of us bi since the hormones started to rage ...fully bi not swinger bi i dont see the problem with str8 people not wanting bi its there choice so its not their problem it the bi people that moan about it problem see you dont like being told no thats what it is you think that being bi is a entitlement for you to have all by thinking all you have to do is play str8.. " Honestly, can't really understand exactly what you are saying there, other than what seems a quite negative post.

"Very true, however many heterosexual couples engage in this and strap on play is not uncommon either. According to our clinic physician unprotected oral sex is the main culprit for the majority of STD transmission.. So question stands as to why bi gents are inherently more susceptible? X" Oh that’s not to say I agree with it as a reason to exclude potential partners. I just play safe with everyone - including women with toys. Not all bi/het flex men engage in anal play, and like you rightly point out lots of couples do, so I find this logic slightly strange to be honest

" So I'm one of those that are narrow minded, ignorant and of limited emotional intelligence. K. If you don't have qualms in meeting a bisexual guy, then you're not one those people I described. Thanks for the reply and block though 😊 " Thanks for the reply. I don't think I missed the point of your post but if that is your opinion I'm fine with it. I don't see the point of complicating things anymore than needed, asexual, bisexual, straight and gay covers it in my opinion, but I do accept that it is just my opinion and I am prepared to change it if learn a good reason for doing so - saying it's nuanced, fluid or flexible just doesn't do it for me. As I said before I will only have sex with people I'm attracted to, so that might be why I find it difficult to understand why gay sex without attraction isn't gay sex. We always block single guys that we come across with public cock pics - I have zero interest in cocks, my wife doesn't like random cocks so we block those profiles, it is nothing personal nor has it anything to do with our opposing opinion, I like debate and discussion. K. " I think you have missed my point. In my post, I'm not conflating sexuality with the act of sex. Sexuality is often defined by romantic or sexual attraction. Homo - same, Bi - both and Hetero - the other. Just because you might not understand it, doesn't negate many others that do. I've never stayed gay sex isn't gay sex, same sex acts can be described as gay sex, absolutely, but that doesn't mean the individual must be homosexual. Sex isn't always about attraction, and can also be about pleasure. If you masturbate, are you homosexual? By your definition you're playing with a cock, you might be. History is littered with same sex acts that wouldn't have meant the participants are homosexual. Soldiers, prisoners, for means of reproduction. So it is far more nuanced and complex, there are a million academic journals/papers dedicated to the subject of sex, sexuality, gender, psychology. All with opposing propositions, that alone proves that the ideas surrounding them aren't as clear as the only 4 sexualities you state. My point was, and still is, being exclusionary to a bi male based on the idea that there sexuality will inform their actions, isn't valid. That's a behavioural decision, and actions aren't defined by what your sexuality is. So you did miss my point, if your takeaway was gay sex is gay, because I didn't even mention gay sex.

We are our experiences and as both GentlemanFox and Butterypopcorn said without any slight on you as a person, yours are by your age 2 decades behind and whilst historic they are as valid as yours 👊👍" Being younger doesn't mean lesser intelligence. We aren't in the 80's. Medically we have advanced light years in ways of preventing issues, specifically Prep. I believe the archaic views around health are wrong and discriminatory. It was only 20 years before that that half of the western world still wanted to keep people who weren't white separated. Time has moved on, and I saw Gentlemanfox comment as an agreement that these views are to be left in the past. No offence meant or taken

" Being younger doesn't mean lesser intelligence. " Replying mainly regarding the first part which is wrong. Definitely did not mention or imply anything about intelligence! Said "we are our experiences" so understanding was the point, not necessarily agreeing, as G and D are not of the same opinion on this but can respect the others feelings on the matter. We are not wanting an echo chamber and, as we hope has been evident by our responses, will not belittle opinions not mirroring our own 👍👊

"People can have their preferences, and that's totally up to them. However, when I hear its because people don't trust me to respect boundaries or consent, then I can't help but feel a little offended by the suggestion that I would break those rules. I respect the boundaries and rules set by men, women, couples and anyone else in between. I've been exploring my bi side, but the idea that now I've started dabbling in that, that I cannot play in a room with a guy without some irresistible lust for him... well, its simply not true. Consent is King. Be no different to playing in a group setting and asking for consent from anyone participating (and accepting the answer even if it's not the one you wanted) - that's absolutely fine. Doesn't mean we couldn't play within the vicinity of each other afterwards." Similar feelings honestly, D is far beyond conscious of boundaries. We have rarely experienced consent being ignored by guy's as frankly we feel they're far more vulnerable to ostracized, bi or not when compared to women. Who we've found can be far more entitled within the community.

Utterly, we feel respect is down to the person not their orientation as with every other thing, some don't like kissing, others watersports, anal, etc, etc.. Asexual, homosexual but has not yet come out, bisexual but just hasn't been with women he finds romantically attractive, and same with heterosexual having just not having a romantic attraction. Then their understanding physical attraction, attraction to intellect, attraction to personality, or something else. This is seemingly what 90% of the posters here understand, and why they also say it's complex.

"Yes, we're put off by bi males. We've had too many unpleasant experiences with bi men who've overstepped agreed boundaries by refusing to believe that some men really are totally and utterly straight. " That's a just reason honestly, your experience understandably would make any want to avoid. Thereby avoiding the potential of a repeat. Unfortunately regardless of sex, sexual orientation there will always be disrespectful arse holes (no pun intended). 🤷

"Yes, we're put off by bi males. We've had too many unpleasant experiences with bi men who've overstepped agreed boundaries by refusing to believe that some men really are totally and utterly straight. " The problem isn’t bi men. It’s men in general. Some behave some don’t. And if you have had too many unpleasant experiences I would check your vetting procedures. The only unpleasant experiences we have had are in club environments where people we haven’t agreed to meet try and join in. Never had one in an arranged meet.

"We avoid bi gentlemen simply because the health risks are too great" Bet you a billion pound you have played with a few bi men before, you just didn't know it, because most men lie on here.
