Why not? The term BBW has been claimed by porn and anyone over a size 12 these days. It's a commonly used descriptor, along with infini-fat in the fat liberation world.

So why come on to a celebratory thread and say you're 'depressed' because you hit an arbitrary marker?
It doesn't matter if you're being self depricating or if you're saying it about the other women on here (which - like it or not - you are) you're still saying 'we should all be depressed about being over a certain size.
You've made your bum a massive part of your persona on here, and clearly celebrate it - like you should. Switch the language and your thought process, and join in the celebratory nature of the thread rather than tell us that hitting a certain size is 'depressing'. Because it's not. Its a heady mix of genetics, socio-economics and any number of weird and wonderful things that go on in our body.  |

And yeah, it's so hard basing it on clothing size. It's so arbitrary. I'm a size 34 in some places and size 24 in others |
