But Mya you know I’m straight. So is spaghetti until it gets wet.

"“But Mya you know I’m straight.” “So is spaghetti until it gets wet.” That was a conversation from one of our meets.
We think all ladies should try at least once. What do you think? "
Can someone explain what that mean ? I didnt get it🙂 |

I really dislike that phrase. It implies that women don't know their own mind and only need persuading to try being with another woman.
Try it if you want to. Don't try it if you don't.
This attitude is what has stopped us meeting couples with bi women because on more than one occasion they have thought I could be persuaded. |

Women are like spaghetti, straight until wet. In other words some people think all women are bi and only need to be aroused to be tempted. 🙄 |

Not a very nice phrase to use in that context, I'm sure if someone really wanted to try something they would in their own time. No one she be pressured into trying something they may not be comfortable with. |

I actually have this line written on my profile. I find quite a lot of women attractive, and have cam-chatted with some that were sadly too far away. Although the idea of kissing and soft play sparks my interest, the thought of doing ‘sex stuff’ just puts me off and I feel like there’d be too much pressure. I’ve socialled with some really lovely couples but never felt the urge to take it further. I’m open to the idea that’s about as much as I can say |

I think it’s great to experiment and explore your fantasies. Although it’s an idea to let the other person know and you may stop at anytime.
Afterwards nothing has changed after your first time, it’s experimenting not a knew stage of life, unless you decide it is.
My view is go for it as long as you don’t feel pressured. |

But the op refers to someone saying they're straight. Not someone with a fantasy or who wants to experiment
Imagine saying to a straight man that he just needs to try |

I hate being labelled this, I am straight and I'd be more happy if everyone else was comfortable with that.
I'm sure you'd have a much more aggressive response if you started going around telling men to try taking a cock up their arse because "they should try it atleast once" or to suck someone off.
I don't understand why some women also seem to get offended by a lady calling herself straight - the amount of times someone has questioned me on it is ridiculous - I've never felt it appropriate to question someone's sexuality.
I am simply not attracted to women, the thought of going down on a lady fills me with ick feeling and something I never ever want to do. |

Yeh, gotta agree with the chorus here. The phrase seems a bit gross tbh, outside of cnc role-playing scenes that involve that sort of thing.
I have also noticed that some women don't think boundaries apply to other women, but only to men. |

......similarly with bi men. The "everyone is a bit bi" is not only wrong, it's insulting. |

Yes. We've experienced more women overstepping the mark than men. Hence my post above |

Agreed!
As to the spaghetti bit, only regret the things you've not done..
Provided that is you were tempted initially 😘 |

This is along similar lines to telling straight men that they are cowardly or narrow-minded for not exploring their non existent bi side which has been said often in these forums.
A couple, both straight on their profile, approached a straight friend of mine and tried to convince her to play bi because it's only a bit of fun and everyone should try it at least once.
I sometimes despair at those who try to force their sexuality on others. |

Absolutely this! Some women seem to think boundaries or consent doesn't apply to them. Touching Karla or Dan without consent is as bad as anyone doing it. |

Dislike this phrase. You are, or you aren’t - and you know if you’re interested in trying or not.
And agree - I’ve encountered at least as many women as men who struggle with physical boundaries.

Agreed!! Experienced too often a woman touching or physically trying to get involved uninvited with either of us, in way's guy's would get crucified for. 🙄🤷 |
