Timewaster is an overused word

Jump to: Newest in thread

As you might see from my current status, I am a bit annoyed with fabbers at present. Us guys get slated for just going straight to pics etc. I read profiles and i expect people to read mine. Only to be called a timewaster, because i can't meet, Profile clearly says i work overseas and not home that often. FFS people what is going on with fab?

Time waster is a phrase used quite frequently in fab, predominately when things aren't going their way.

Like with every walk of life its easier to blame others than to look inwards at your own failings and reasons for them.

Screaming timewaster is just a symptom of this.

Like those that sue McDonalds because they tip hot coffee on themselves there is a lack of personal accountability and responsibility which has been fostered by our overly stupid PC culture.

In a crisp poke on the A814

Why let it get to you?

Are you really that bothered that some idiot is throwing "timewaster" at you when you know you are not?

Says alot about them.....and best avoided!!

Time waster seems to be interchangeable with "not interested in fucking me..."

Why not have your status say NOT MEETING AT MOMENT, just in case people don't read your profile?

Or maybe hide the profile while you're out of the country?

People like barristers, teachers and doctors, for example. And I have met a few of those on here.

Probably not - I'm tired. And that's the excuse I'm sticking with.

I am not meeting at the mo, not until July 2013 the earliest, and have said so in my profile.

I am not searchable.

Yet I still get messages, requesting to meet, or to chat.

I usually reply to say I do not mind chatting, however, it does not necessarily lead to anything more, and do not wish to be called a time waster.

They usually leave me alone after that.

Without all the facts of why someone called you a timewaster it's difficult to make a comment whether I agree or not! Surely if you have made it clear drom the start that you are not around then, in my opinion, you are not!!
