I would suggest that you plan for a very large number of the men who “guarantee” they will be there to drop out - they always do.
Make sure that you are inviting two or three times the number you think you will need and make sure that the majority have actually turned up to something like this in the past - they are the only ones you can really rely on. |

Sadly as others have said above, you will probably find most don’t show and will give every excuse under the sun for not showing.
I recently was the only 1 of 5 to turn up. I drove an hour to Bristol for it, although me and the wife still had fun, we didn’t have the fun we had at our previous meet as the mood had been killed by the let downs. Hubby was understandably fuming having wasted time and money organising it all.

so difficult to arrange .I wanted 6 to 8 so I invited 18 ..1 turned up ..in my experience the ones who keep messaging saying what they are going to do are the ones guaranteed not to show by that time they have wanked themselves to death ..older guys above 55 are the most reliable |

We use hotels with big reception/bar areas and stagger arrivals so as not to attract attention ! We also book a suite so there’s space but always ask the guys to split the cost - they aren’t cheap in good hotels as you know.
The other option is Airbnb with whole place to yourself or an aparthotel. Again due to cost we ask them to split cost. If they refuse then they don’t get the address ! |
