I think it's normal and common to let your mind go to the wank-bank on occasion. The idea that a simple thought, "dream cheating" for example, is or should be a problem is ridiculous to me.
In a previous relationship we were both happy to share where we went in our minds, it spiced things up and helped us explore our own sexual boundaries.
In my last relationship however, she was very closed off about her past and whilst we had a lot of fun, I felt I couldn't be completely honest with her. That wasn't the reason she is an ex but I do feel liberated that I don't have to watch what I say and if I meet someone else, openness is a key value.
As to where my mind went? Previous experiences as well as the spin-off fantasies of those experiences. And probably fun with people I shouldn't but hell, it's all just fantasy and make-believe. Would you vilify a crime writer who let his mind play out a murder or worse in their mind? |
