Of course I do. It's just that my preference is black men, I have no interest of dating white men coz I don't think I have anything in common with them. I dated white men when I was younger and I felt that something was always missing, can't explain it. Since I met my husband he has opened my eyes for a whole new world when it comes to music, dancing, food and culture. When I was a kid I grew up with kids from different cultures and my best friend is from Marocco.

I don't meet based on colour...although being asked in a first message if I'll fuck a black guy does put me off as it's almost as if the guy sending the message is trying to imply there is a difference or a reason I shouldn't. It's a prejudgment based on race which although a positive for black people, it is a negative for all other races based on nothing but a stereotypical assumption. So it is racist by definition although I don't believe it was done maliciously I can understand why people would see it as offensive. Black skin would not instantly make someone a fantastic lover as everyone is different anyway regardless of race.

Wow, this thread has picked up a lot since I last came to it. Was it an inflammatory comment? I don't believe so. I think she is just stating her preference in much the same way as any other preference would be stated.

Let's learn to accept others' preferences without confusing it for something else.

Besides we all generalise based on what we encounter and to say that she can't say that cos she hasnt been with every man is silly at best..

now believe it or not the above is a good example of racism !

a generalization of all members of a particular skin colour based on experience of a few x

all that should have been said to be objective is : that her husband is the best lover she has known, to extrapolate that all black men are amazing based on that is wrong x
