I think the answer OP is try not to get frustrated by other people's choices and seek out those that you and me and others can be appealing to. The pool is much smaller of course but is not confined to only selecting profiles on fab but also meeting people at socials and parties where your personality shines brighter than an age box does on a profile . |

At 50 I find I'm now falling outside people's preference brackets but it's never been an issue in the clubs.
