Though I've had a fair bit of experience with men, women, and couples, I have never been to a club. As a single man, I have no idea of how they work, or if I'd find it all very depressing as I sit in a corner; a wallflower.
(I probably need someone to take me, even if just as a platonic "guide", lol).
Happy to accept advice via DM if you prefer that to here. |

I go on my own. First time is daunting or when you go to a new club where you don't know the layout. But it all sorts itself out. As others have said be polite and mix ... its the same as any other social occasion really. Being smart casual helps I think. Shirt trousers and shoes can help you stand out. JFDI

I'm in the same boat as you... I really want to attend either as just a visitor or to play as well but im held back by my nerves if I go by myself. Would love to actually find someone to go with even if we don't actually play together, only arrive and leave with each other |

Personally it makes my head wobble when I hear of straight men nervous about going to a club.
Put your best big boy pants on, a smile, and go. Once you’ve walked through the door you’ll dispel the myths and know if it’s for you or not. |

it's certainly way easier (and sometimes cheaper) with a FWB then you can choose to watch, do your own thing or join in, firt one for me was a huge place overseas, easy to wander and find where we were comfortable and get it on.
On your own just have to be prepared to chat |

We made the mistake of taking a single guy to a club , followed us around all evening and made no effort to interact with anyone .People at clubs are nice and friendly as are the people who run them , we have recently struck up great friendships with single guys we have met at clubs and that was their first times as well , lots of clubs run " newbie events " as well which are a great way of people trying them out .As people have said put the big boy pants on and go and meet lots of new people . |

"You'll be fine. You need to be confident in a club as a single guy, time for big boy pants " This... find people to talk to.. don't follow people around wanking... and give people a bit of space.
Also go with no play expectations but just that it will be a nice time with like minded people x |
