Before lockdown I attended 2 parties at a farmhouse in the Borders. One was in July and it was scorching that day. There was a great BBQ, hot tub, disco, karaoke and plenty entertainment in the bedrooms upstairs. We sat outside under the apple trees and drank and chatted before going inside. It was really an enjoyable day which won't be forgotten. |

Best parties was when I was in my late teens. Still lived at home and parents away most weekends. Invited friends over, started with just a couple and then word grew and by the end was a large group. For some people it was their first experience and was hot to watch |

It terms of private house parties I assume (been to loads of club party nights). We've been to one house party organised by good freinds of ours. It was a lot of fun. Sure they were great hosts and everything was spot on. But the best thing about it was the selection of people then invited. A real good mix of couples and a couple of great single men. Everyone just gelled so easily and were so comfortable around each other even though the vast majority had met for the first time that night. So I would say the best parties are by those who know their guests and how to bring the right people together.
