Well as I know from my time as a single male on here, you are bottom of the pile so to speak, there is literally thousands of single men looking for meets.
So you are left with a choice, either send first and have a chance, or don't send and have zero chance, totally up to you.

Definitely this. If they have public pics and they want to have a sense of what you look like that's legit. It's when someone messages you with zero images but wants to see what you look like that it's weird  |

Yes, we often initiate by sending a couple of us.
However if not reciprocated within a few days we'll remove them.

No. It is the ones who state in their profile saying a face pic is a must or your message will be ignored...yet do not have a single face pic of themselves showing.
The other day I replied to an Ad and sent a face pic. Got a reply saying they knew who I was and were going to show the post to my relative. Haha. Then blocked me |

That's proper dodgy, did you report them? I send a picture with the first message but sometimes wonder if there is people on here who might try and use it against others. Your experience is the first time I've heard of anything like that actually happening though. |

My rule of thumb is if I haven't asked for yours, don't ask for mine.
The moment they do it's the end of the convo. Outside of a very specific set of circumstances, I'm not sending face pics to anyone.
The ones who message you and send one in their first message aren't fooling me either. Throwing your unsolicited mug at me does not oblige me to do the same. |

I think insisting on face pics is very disrespectful.
You are not showing any consideration or respect for that person. They may be a teacher at your childs school or simply a very private individiual. They won't want all and sundry looking at their face pic.
It also shifts the balance of power and dynamic, you supply a face pic, they can take a copy and not send one back. This is an absolute no for me and I won't play such games.
I am not desperate enough to jump through all the hoops that a female or couple's profile insist upon. I am not applying for a job FFS. If you want to see what the person looks like, arrange a meet for coffee etc, isn't that part of the excitement?
I know the next sentence is more of a guys persepective but if she's got a bangin body, I don't care what the face looks like. |

No No No, not a chance i am very security conscious if some one who has no pictures on their profile is asking for pictures of me first smell a big rat. people don't seem to grasp the risk factor of placing pictures on line, ok each to their own but what they dont seem to value or grasp is once images have been put on any web site you lose control of where it goes and who has access to that image.
So a random request for facial images are just ridicules and risky. I have given people a phone number so can have a phone chat , but i am still security protected anonymity, come on guys wise up, put your thinking heads on before your sex heads |
