It's not but maybe they are offering food etc and having it in a hotel so asking others to chip in that could be why

Blimey, it must include a slap-up meal at the Ritz.

Report them!

I received an email not too dissimilar some time back.. except they were asking if they could use my place and in return... get this... I'd get a discount to attend.

Makes you wonder if I refused to pay - they'd refuse me entry? To my own home??

We have paid £40 for a couples party at a great venue with drinks and food! You would pay to get into a club right?

There are differences though:

A club is a venue with some license, operating capital, staff wages, utility bills,... you name it. If they have a bar then there's alcohol license as well.

A random meet ("meet us in hotel") makes you thing... hotel for the night - £90, get 5 people (1 girl and 4 guys?) then the guys pay £20 and the girl £10. Sorted.

But if they're expecting 20 guys, each paying £20 ... that's some expensive hotel!

No need to pay for a gangbang, plenty on here who don't ask for a 'contribution'.

Think it's out of order esspecially if they ask for:arrive, fuck, leave

it's 1 thing asking for:sharing hotel costs or a fee for a buffet provided but just asking for payment to play thats not swinging in my book!!!

If it's a party why not charge - they either have to hire some place, maybe put on some drinks, food or even class the donation as help to clean up.

Many parties location get rather messy (dirty/stained towels, bed sheets, used condoms left about etc) even in people own homes.

If it was close friends party then paying seems a bit... er.. but if it's strangers then what do you think.

Cant answer the last posters comment about his own house..lol that one very dodgy.

Even better - I told them if they want the authority to decide whether or not I can attend a venue (that I happen to have the key to) then they're welcome to pay the rent

speaking as someone who uses hotels regular ive never used a single one where you could get 20 guys into the same room, you couldn't get that many past reception in most hotels, im guessing its a home meet and they just making money from it

Okay, here's a twist on the "paying for a party/meet that is NOT in a club" (say a hotel or someone's house).

If clubs charge different entry rates (ie guys, girls and couples) as a business model to cover their costs while controllig numbers (to some degree) of who turns up (usually unexpected),...

.. then how do some of these "private parties" justify also charging different rates? They don't have staff to pay, usually the bills are not that much higher (if their own home) and if a hotel then the cost of booking the room is a fixed rate,.. and the people attending are invited only so there's little chance of "randoms turning up" and a need to "control numbers".

So.. why charge differently? A long time ago I got such an invite... £5 for single girls, £80 for single guys, with a note at the bottom of the email "You are guaranteed to have fun".

To me, a "guarantee" (with a £80 price tag for the guys) only means one thing.

A couple of years ago a friend and I got a room in London and had an all weekend party , and lets say we had over 30 guys, the only problem we had was the lovely man on security wanted to come join us...... and the only money spent was we paid for the room ourselves. I could not ask them for money , that's like prostitution in my eyes.

£5 for single girls aka rocking horse .... - rare as..

£80 single guys - ten a penny.

Supply and demand..

Most parties we have been to supply limitless drinks and a buffet - if they make some money well they have to put it to the clean up - wash all their linen etc.. and spend the following day clearing up, and sort out the carpet spill of red wine, cleaning etc

Least in a hotel - you leave it to the chamber maid - poor thing.

We have been to somewhere in the region of 20 parties in our time on here...... and have NEVER been asked to pay anything.

Some parties have been very well put together, hot-tubs, buffets etc and others were more intimate affairs, but all we were asked was to bring our on drinks... and condoms lol!

Swinging is an intimate, personal hobby, when it becomes a "for profit" venture that's when ordinary swingers should walk away.

Clubs have overheads, wages, rent, utilities ... parties don't.

Whilst I'm not against a couple getting a few guys into a hotel room for some gangbang fun for the wife, and asking for a small contribution towards the cost of the room, the sort of profiteering indicated by the OP should be shunned by genuine swingers.

Over the rainbow, under the bridge

I don't understand how people can justify the charging of others for what is essentially a sex meet. The reasons given: food, drink, etc, just cut no ice with me at all. If you are hosting a gang bang then you don't have to provide anything bar a little tea or coffee. If it is a hotel meet then the cost of the room should be divided amongst the people attending and no more. The cost of cleaning up? Please! Bloody cheeky. You don't like holding parties don't do it - to charge someone for cleaning is ridiculous.

As others have said, other than GENUINE expenses such as hotel rooms, any other costs are simply paying for sex. That is solicitation and prostitution.

I believe Madam Cyn (Cynthia Payne) actually did time for hosting parties where she accepted luncheon vouchers. That's because it was ILLEGAL.

that about sums it up

if men refused to pay they would stop doing it, because so many guys are willing to pay £20 for a shag they'll keep charging and will carry on doing so till men do refuse

"I'm confused and need guidance "

Money changing hands = prostitution

Same principle in a private home, using any kind of business model = business and all that implies,

Using your home as a business, mortgage invalad,

No insurance, no licence for supplying alcohol.

Health and safety, the list goes on,

When you use a club you're paying for the use of its facilities, not sex.

Rule of thumb, if it is guaranteed sex and you are getting charged for it then it isn't allowed on the site.

Report, even if in doubt.
