For me, sometimes I have used sex as a way to get some affection.
Sometimes it's not the actual sex I want but some, attention, intimacy, kissing, touch, being held.
Sex is used for all manor of things if honest

Correct, I enjoy the intimacy of sex, affection during that aforementioned makes me feel closer to my partner. I love the feeling of being touched for want of a better word “affectionately “ it’s a major turn on for me knowing that someone is enjoying a connection with you, and you in return them.  |

Sex and affection dont always go hand in hand , there in lies the problem some people dont know the difference between them both , Sex can be just functionary , something we enjoy. Affections totally different , sometimes we can get both at the same time.
Also having a healthy alternative sexual appetite and libido doesnt make us sex addicts .Sex addiction is a totally different beast . |

I just crave that deep and strong orgasm that you just can't achieve from a wank. I want sex, affection is developed naturally when it clicks with the right people.
