Me and a long time FWB are currently making a little bit of progress into the world of anal.

Personally I do just because water based is less chemical. Ultimately it’s what she feels comfortable with. Maybe get a water and a silicon based one snd try each - could be quite fun finding the perfect line  |

I've used water based and silicon based and they are both very good.
Definitely put some lube on your fingers and on the arse and work it with one, then two etc.
Then the bum should be ready for your cock with a bit of lube on the helmet and slowly go in. Take your time and gradually work up the pace that they are happy with.
