There can be. We're in body adornment as a business, so they can he made to order with various symbols on them and a range of chains.
Think of it like a chain with maybe your birthstone on it, a QOS symbol/stag & Vixen charms, or letters, etc.
Different ones can be done for different meaning in various places. |

Easy answer - you don't, unless you have the same mentality that assumes a woman in a low cut dress or short skirt must be gagging for it. Plenty of women who are not swingers choose wear ankle chains. |

Mrs _iclassy has worn a anklet 24/7 for many years can honestly say no-one has approached her regarding her anklet.She now has taken to wearing anklet on the outside of her stockings when on nights out. |

I bought one for an ex years ago and she often wore it.I don't think anybody saw it as anything other than a piece of jewellery.I quite like to see a woman wearing one but I don't make any assumptions.

This time of year is less conducive to anklet wear because they don’t work with boots but whore still sometimes wears one from the collection. Most recently the MFM symbols one on an overnight hotel stay. |

If the anklet is specific to a certain lifestyle and the purpose of wearing an anklet if not to let others know what way you roll, would that suggest you are open to strangers approaching.
