I think to start with it will be fine but when people have a very big age gap I offen wonder if it will stay strong in later years when the older one is in their 70s and their health and sex life is deteriorating while the others 20+ years younger and still active in all ways, when you meet someone whos 20+ plus older than you you have to ralise one day you will probably become their carer, if your fine with that then all well and good |

You could be your husbands/wifes carer regardless of age.... |

I know plenty of guys who do absolutely fuck all, so they have a carer as soon as the ring goes on the finger |

True but if you meet and your both in your 20s you take the chance that something may happen to one of you and you'll end up looking after your partner, if you have a age gap of 20 years plus its all most a guarantee

"ah but do you think in 20 yrs he would still want the older woman?? "
Even if you're the same age will you still want your partner in 20 years? The reality is no one knows and trying to predict the future of your relationship will probably accelerate the termination of that relationship. |

When I was very ill with bipolar my husband who was older than me was my Carer for 12 months so totally agree doesn't matter what your age is, if your ill your hubby/ wife will become your Carer (if they want to of course) |

Bridgwater - Somerset |
Good friends of mine had an 18 year gap, wife the oldest.
Not complete swingers, but had an open and honest marriage - discussed in advance and a blow by blow account given afterwards.
Worked very well up to a point - latterly she was finding it more difficult to pull than he was and this caused some jealousy and resentment. |
