50 is not a great age number

So many awesome female profiles on here , but over and over again....can't message as to old as over 50....its hard enough trying to get conversation going and when you find someone that you really want to chat and meet up, you have no chance |

I am 47 now, and over the last 12 months I have been feeling that I am entering a new demographic where I may be viewed as not as attractive as before.
Looking at it from a distance, it is quite interesting to think how such a subtle incrementation can make a big difference for some. |

Use the advanced search function and tick the box that says you're the age they're looking for.
It saves disappointment. People are entitled to have age preferences as much as any other. |

Is that a thing too?
I noticed things change a little when I went 46.
Luckily I prefer older women but I do like younger guys. I still have interest but maybe not quite the same options and spread of them as I did before. |

Hi, I’ve found this. Just 50 and seems to be a natural cutoff for some folks.
Don’t feel like I want to lie about my age. I’m quite happy at 50.
I think there should be a group for + 50s. I’m looking to meet open-minded and like-minded folks in North Wales of this age group.
It’s not all about sex but more a mindset dynamic.
Sometimes it’s not all about pumping for five hours straight But I think once you hit 50, you open up a bit more and start to explore. |

Having just turned 51, I’ve noted my options in contacting people are a little more limited than they were a few days ago!
Still, Fab is a swings and roundabouts type of experience, as much as any online social / dating site. We’re all sifting through the shingle to find the pearls. |

I remember feeling kind of the same when I read the research that shows the majority of men as they grow older still want to date 18-25 year old women as that is who they find the most attractive, whereas women, as they age tend to find people closer to their age the most attractive.
Kind of made me want to give up entirely and go full lesbian. |

The problem with that is that you can't tell who just wants to chat and who thinks any response to a message means you'll meet them.
If I was at work or a social occasion I'd expect to mix with everyone regardless of their age. However fab is neither. It's primarily a site where people meet each other for sex. Therefore most of us limit people who can contact us to the ages we're interested in.
Bring perfect in every other way but one still means you're not perfect.

There's a lot of couples and single females who cut off around the 45+ age group here in Essex. There's a couple of regular private house parties but you can tell their very clickie. |
