No offence intended to anyone before we start but, is it just us that gets instantly turned off by certain phrases . The one that does it for us is when someone says something like
"Love your profile pic mmmmmmmm"
It's obviously not the fact they like the pic it's the mmmmmm that does it.

Our 2 main issues with messages.
Those that put no effort in to a reply. Replying with a few words....you may as well just say you aren't interested.
And those profiles that ask for a face pic, which we will gladly send. Yet they reply but won't send a pic of themselves as they're a professional couple who need to feel a connection first.

Yeah, always feel a bit cheated if we're asked for a face pic but the other couple don't want to send one

To be fair they might see that you're "within 10 miles" from your profile, but I take your point that as a combo it's not exactly enticing. |
