I don't think this generalisation, like most generalisations, has much truth to it.
Personal case, I've been fully shaven down there for the last 14 years, during which I've been both single and in (long and short) relationships: neither status has affected my grooming habits in the slightest. |

I would not use that as evidence on it's own, just as one item in a long list of features that, together, may be worth asking the male if he's married or has a partner, if that bothers you. Also, it depends on how long ago the photos were taken. |

I trim mine cos I have proper spiders leg pubes if they're allowed to do their own thing
My ex had great natural pubes, just nice and neat and compact and tufty
