When we go we usually turn up at about 22:00 hrs as not a lot goes on earlier.
As a newbie they like you to arrive earlier so they can give you a tour .
The Travelodge at Terminal 5 is useful and the taxi drivers know where to go .
Just make sure you ask for Kestrels as that is what the place is called and what they know it as. |

thats cos the women are scantily dressed, with a huge (sometimes fur) overcoat.
and their guys are clanging their bottles in the tescos plastic bag.

Most Guys are smart/casual (with a lot of black LOL) even suits, but unless they are really fashion suits they look a bit stiff, for you it’s easy according to my other half. 
For girls is a lot more varied, anything from sexy underwear or transparent stretchy micro dresses, through night club wear, to cocktail dresses.
Really you dress to what makes YOU feel good/attractive/sexy; if you feel good it shows and that’s attractive, which is really what it's all about!

It's a very relaxed place with no pressure to do anything you don't want. Advise your lady friend to wear waterproof mascara as, if she fancies a dip in the pool or hot tubs, she'll end up looking like a panda (small point but no woman likes looking like a goth in the pool  )
As for dress - smart trousers and a nice shirt is fine for guys. As was said before, women usually dress a little sexier but as a bigger woman, you'd never find me in a see through micro mini dress lol.
I tend to go for lace / satin outfits with hold ups and black stilettos ... and often wear a long black velvet evening coat - especially if it's chilly.

It's no trainers or jeans but I have to say I HAVE seen those things (maybe they're stricter on a Saturday - we tend not to go then).
You're welcome to take alcohol but don't get hammered - it's never a nice look at a swingers party.
They provide complimentary tea/coffee/water and soft drinks on tap.
There are fridges to store them and a microwave for heating any food you take (we usually take a snack of some kind if we're going to be there for a long time). Sex makes you peckish! |

We've only been once on a Saturday as the couples thing isn't our bag.
We found it to be very busy - it had a great buzz and there were people of all ages.
There's no reason for your lady friend to feel nervous - there will be NO pressure for her to play. Also, there are private lockable play areas in case you just want to play alone or take one or two selected playmates.
If you view it as an exciting sexy night with no plans to play, neither of you will feel pressurised. Then if you DO decide to play it's a bonus. |

We've only been once on a Saturday as the couples thing isn't our bag.
We found it to be very busy - it had a great buzz and there were people of all ages.
There's no reason for your lady friend to feel nervous - there will be NO pressure for her to play. Also, there are private lockable play areas in case you just want to play alone or take one or two selected playmates.
If you view it as an exciting sexy night with no plans to play, neither of you will feel pressurised. Then if you DO decide to play it's a bonus."
That's what we are thinks she's up and down lol I think more nervous but I think when we're there she'll become more at ease |

Those nerves can actually be a bonus - gives you a buzz! We feel the same whenever we visit a club we haven't been to. We're totally at home at AbFabs now - which is nice too.

We don't do Saturdays as we only soft swing with similar couples and play with bi guys. But you'll meet loads of lovely people anyway - I'm sure you'll have a blast. Don't forget to tell us all about it |
