Hi, I'm interested to know what everyone thinks,, I have always shaved round my manhood as I think it looks better and is much more hygienic, but lately I'm thinking of shaving all over and wondering what your general opinions are,, I am a regular road cyclist so I'm used to shaved legs lol

MAMOBA, miles and miles of bugger all (Aberdeenshire)

If a man shaves, same rule as any woman - make sure its smooth and no stubble.

Been with a cyclist in the past and the smooth all over was good, but high maintenance - and the growing back phase was a nightmare!

I think if your s man that has the odd patches of hair, like round the nipples or a bit on the tummy its better coming off.........I don't object to men who shave their underarms either, I think it looks nicer

I like a man to be smooth down there but like a hairy chest though

Personally I think a man needs a bit of a bush otherwise it can look rather boyish, but I do believe its a good idea just to trim it down a little - if you're expecting ladies to enjoy going down on you then its important that you make it comfortable for them. Of course, tip top genital hygiene is also essential.

I've been shaving down below since I was 16 & left school. Back then it was not popular & un cool, but it's funny now how opinions have changed and how many men do shave. Much cleaner I think & if women now take care if there lady parts - why shouldn't us men ?

"if women now take care if there lady parts - why shouldn't us men ?"

There's a difference between taking care of and shaving off completely. Womens genitals are obviously obstructed to a far greater degree by their pubic hair, so its understandable why so many of them would choose to shave it off, whereas guys don't really have the same issue hence why I suggest that simply trimming it should be perfectly sufficient.

Men are meant to have hair on their bodies

"Men are meant to have hair on their bodies "

Why ?

Maybe back in caveman times the hairy look was useful for warmth and retaining the male aromour but things have moved on now ,,,,,,

its called evolution !

I remove what little hair I ve got on my bod as myself and my missus much prefer the smooth buff look and feel to be an all over one !

Evolution would be if we naturally evolved to have no hair, the current mode for hairless bodies is called fashion

I have recently took the plunge and decided to shave, I must admit, I do like the fresh feel down there!

I can't decide whether to carry on shaving or let things grow back though... decisions, decisions...

Look, womens pussies (is there a better word I can use, as that one always sounds so crass on here, and vagina sounds excessively scientific) have a nice texture on the tongue, but their pubic hair doesn't.

How odd, I was thinking about this very subject in the shower this morning.

I'll never understand where the "more hygenic" argument for shaving your bits comes from, surely anyone who washes properly on a daily basis and immediatly before a meet will be clean and hygenic regardless of if they are bald or bushy around their bits?

If someone is smelly then blame the person, not the hair...

I prefer to shave under my arms and in between my legs. I think men should have a certain amount of hair on their body i.e. Some facial hair and on chest etc - thats what i think a man should look like.

Chest hair always looks sexy once your out the shower and shes waiting there on the bed for you (women love it iv been told). But obviously not too hairy.

Nonetheless, its your body and you can do whatever you want to it.

Bridgwater - Somerset

Where do we all stand on the pheromone situation - shave everything, wash everything, cover in artificial smells and pretend we're not animals?

Stale smells - no, fresh musky smells - may be.

Trimmed is good - helps if you can find it

Can't say I'm fussed by under arm hair on either sex.

Radical or what -)

Look? .

Vaginas rarely if ever have hair .

I'm not keen on the word pussy but there are few euphemisms that sound nice, I think we all know what we mean by pussy, fanny or foof and it saves using "front bottom"

If actually used DURING the act of sex then I don't see anything wrong with saying 'I wanna lick your sweet pussy' or such, but used in general conversation I just don't like the sound of it.

I shave my private parts - cock, balls and around arse, trimmed part above the little man is left, though.

My underarms are always shaved. Rest of my body hair is trimmed, but not shaved. I have been told many times that the feel of trimmed hair is better than the feel of beard during cuddle. Giving a hug to hedgehog may not be a pleasant experience...
