Yes why not,

If they like the look of you they will get back to you.

They get bombarded so your message will be buried?

But that would still happen if they're online surely too.

You won't know unless you take a chance

Imagine if this was possible.. (being in I.T. I know it is in some cases)

You see someone who you quite fancy the look of... you read their profile but they are offline..

"Ooh I will message them"

As you click "message"

"Warning this use has over 100 unread messages"

It would be useful.. but only if a user had over a certain number of unread messages in their inbox.. (number to be editable by the user)

Food for thought...

Would you still post your message? Or would you think again having seen a warning?

This would be great

It depends. If they have filters set quite high you might be part of only a small group of men that can get through them

It's creepy AF when people message in response to the blue dot. I frequently block for it on my personal account.

Astonishingly not all women want to wank chat just because you're browsing with your dick in your hand. And not everyone is into meeting strangers in a private setting in the small hours.

It's fine to message people who are off line for other purposes xx

I prefer it. The immediate deluge when I'm online means that I've changed my filters to block men. It's annoying as I miss out on some interesting messages. But I've noticed an entitlement that me being online means they deserve my attention.

It wouldn't. I'd be perpetually having to ensure I'd left over 100 messages in the unread setting instead of deleting to tidy my Inbox.

Doesn't make any difference to messaging online or offline if they like the look of your profile & message they'd reply if not they won't.
