Not something I participate in but I've been to clubs watched females being fucked in sucession by lots of guys BB. I wonder do these people not worry about contracting or passing on serious STDs during these encounters |

I was having a discussion with a man about BB and he was saying he didn't get why people are so worried about chlamydia and gonorrhea as they don't show symptoms most of the time and easily treated.
I said what about HIV his answer was I don't have sex with men at this point I rolled my eyes and gave up. |

op you only need to worry about your self but just remember safe sex is safer sex you can still catch things ..
the only real safe is protected sex ie condoms / oral dams and rubber gloves along with regular testing but so many safe sex only people dont do oh my mouths ok as is my hands and other body parts and i dont need to test because he used condoms .. nope rubbish the only safe sex is no sex .... so those preaching bb sex need to get their own sexual health in order before preaching to others ...
sex is a risk walking the street is a risk .. let other do what they want whiles you look after you if your worried then swinging is not for you as i think you'll be shocked at the real world ...

Regular testing is what is most important.
HIV can be protected agsinst now if you are tested regularly.
HIV is now a managed disease rather as diabetes is controlled. It is not a disaster or such a fear as in was years ago.
People live with HIV and are unable to pass the virus on if they are sensible and medicated properly.
This stigma needs to be stopped and everyone should try to educate themselves to the advances in medical science and to regular STI testing.
The comment about not showing symptoms is the most worrying to me.
Then there is the situation that bare sex is somehow demonised yet most use no protection for oral sex at all.

What does being "sensible" actually mean? |

Taking their medication and attending their appointments of course.
If they are undetectable then they are just the same as anyine without the virus.
The stigma has to end.
If people are regularly tested then there will be fewer issues and fear. |

"The best to keep it between safe friends."
Do friends tell you everything?
Always completely honest?
Friends can still pass on an infection just as anyobe else could.
Get tested regularly and take redponsibility.

If there is misinformation out there agree. I'm still not clear though. If someone with HIV has sex with someone else. The fact they've attended an appointment stops them from passing it on? I'm not sure how? |

We are a bareback couple. We test every 3 months but in a staggered way, so it's only a month 1/2 before one of us is tested. We also take the medication Prep & Doxy Pep, these remove the risk from HIV and heavily reduce the risk from some other sti's.
There is still some risk but we are happy to take it and always ensure the people we meet are aware that we only bareback.
It's different for everyone, each person should make an informed choice x |

The " that's because the risk of transmitting or catching an STI through oral sex is hugely higher in unprotected anal or vaginal sex than oral, where there is a risk but a small one. |
