Hoping to get over to Angels next week. Do we pay in the shop before going into the cinema?
I’m checking the place out to see if it’s something my Mrs would enjoy. She tried a different place a few years ago and didn’t hang around |

Both have there good points so it's down to the customer on what suits them best,
Angels has the shop, foxy has a seating area to sit and have a coffee and chat,
Foxy has fake leather seating, Foxy has padded benches and the stage,
Foxy is open longer on a Sunday Foxy longer mid week,
Angels small car park for customers and road parking if available plus a pay car park over the road, Foxy has a bigger car park but not really road parking as it on a main road
Angel's is a back street, Foxy main road,
Angels short walk from Walsall town center and the train station, Foxy a short walk from the tram,
Angels has 1 cinema foxy has 2
Angel's is cheaper at 12 quid and foxy is 13
Both cinemas look after you and welcome couples and single females with the ut most respect
And both sets of staff are friendly and polite

"Vaguely remember years ago a single fem in there, I knowvthere was 1 in angels a few months back"
Not sure about Angels (will need to check that out) but I know unaccompanied females aren't allowed in Foxys unless that's changed. |

Went for the first time today.
Shops is rammed with stuff, would take hours to properly look at everything.
After a quick browse I took the plunge and went to the cinema. I stayed for about an hour and a half. Lowest it got to was four other guys, at one point there was about 15. Everybody seems discreet and respectful.
No women/couples for my visit, lots of activity going on on the back row. Lots of two and three seater sofas in rows. I didn’t notice it being sticky or unclean. I would definitely go again and will be trying to tempt my Mrs to come to. Although I’m sure not all of the clientele will appeal.
