I want to go to a Swingers club to see what it's all about. I've never been and worry I might not enjoy it. Also nervous about going on my own.

What do people recommend and does anyone want to take me out :D

Hi btw, new here!

I think it would be a good idea for some of the men who like the idea if a club but don't want to go alone to team up with each other for a bit of mutual support

I don't think most clubs are keen on groups of men turning up together, unless it's specifically a bi, gay or greedy girls event.

If planning on going to an event as two guys I'd recommend checking in on the guestlist and making sure you won't be turned away, just in case.

I didn't realise that. So two men arriving together might be turned away. What happens to gay couples?

Op you have one of the friendliest no membership single men welcome clubs on your doorstep The Attic.

The staff are lovely and welcoming, you will get a tour and probably introduced to a few people as you go round.

You will probably be rabbit in headlights when you first get there, but once you have had a drink and chatted to a few people you will know whether you like it or not.

My tip would be head to the bar and then dancefloor, don’t lurk or linger, be bold and say hello to others who you might be interested in.

Be prepared for a lot of nos and don’t go expecting sex on a plate.

But make an effort, be approachable smile and chat to people and you never know.

As the old saying goes what have you got to lose. £35 for a fun night out, free porn on cinema and more porn in the flesh should you only get to voyeur and an experience!

Two is probably okay, but I know some clubs will actively avoid larger groups of men, particularly clubs that are close to drinking areas and don't have strict membership rules.

Most also don't want there to be far more single men than anyone else unless it's the sort of night already mentioned, bigger groups will skew the numbers faster. I know whenever I've been to a club and it's been a total sausage fest I've never wanted to go back there. But there are nights that are meant to be more that direction.

Two single guys arriving together would only be accepted if club was rammed of single women and couples in our experience.

I’ve never seen an openly gay male couple at a swingers club.

Ah ok, I understand. I was thinking that two men could kind of give each other moral support but maybe it's not a good idea.

I hadn't thought of it that way.

It's a nice idea, but I just thought it worth mentioning that it might not work out. Particularly so if there's any dutch courage involved.

Most clubs have newbie nights. Otherwise the best bet is to see what's on that appeals and ask to be put on the guestlist and let them know its their first time so they get the tour and etiquette intro. If they want to arrange to meet another guy there for company and moral support it's best to arrive as individuals rather than in a group.
