How do you feel if your asked to leave a verification for someone you met.
Do you feel pressured for being asked rather than freely offering one.
And should you leave them a verification, how do you feel if they dont/wont reciprocate and leave a verification for you |

I don't mind people asking for verification after we've met and don't mind too much for them not returning one. However, if I am going to an organised social, I do expect to get verified by the organisers even just to say I turned up. Had a situation recently when I went to an organised social with my partner, but we left after less than an hour due to the music being way too loud for us in that venue. The organisers ignored our verification for them (probably it wasn't as glowing as the other ones) and never verified us. I get that usually there is loads of people at those events and it takes a lot of Fabmin afterwards, but nobody forced them to organise the event. Rant over. |

It’s always difficult asking for verifications on here without feeling like you are ‘stamp collecting’ !
We have met people on here over the years that haven’t verified us, from mostly club meets, disappointing but you can hardly really pester them to do so.
Just have to take things as they are, when dealing with other people as our mantra.

It wouldn't bother us if someone asked for a veri. We normally leave one after we've met people because veris are a fundamental part of this site and helping people safely connect. The only instances where we wouldn't leave a veri would be if we really didn't get on with someone.
