Am I missing something? Does anybody else find tartan mini skirts just totally un sexy ??
I realise that sexy is completely "in the eye of the beholder" but this particular example goes right over my head  |

Yes, you're missing something. Although I find it very strange that school uniforms still have tartan skirts and most of them seem to be very short these days. Not to the knee as was strictly enforced in my day. |

There’s a couple of lovely ladies that wear little
Kilts to Chams - love the flash of the bum cheeks and lips…
Used to go the Tilted Kilt in LA when working nearby. The waitresses didn’t wear them as short though…  |

What’s it to like but we all have different opinions.
It depends on who is wearing and how they work it.
I think is the stripes going both ways around the body showing off the shape of the wearer. |

Depends what they wear it with. If its a school blouse half pulled out to look like a cheap schoolgirl- nope.

I literally have a wardrobe full of the things.
And... this may trigger a 'paedo warning' from many of you, but around 70% of them are the real thing (IE, actual school skirts)
All of the major suppliers (Banner, Trutex and Winterbottom) go up to at least 40" waist.

I think you might be missing something. Or at least missing out. I put myself in the very large pool of people who love them. Granted a lot of that has to do with them being "mini" and less to do with the tartan, but they still signify a certain sense of fun.
And no, not a schoolgirl thing - round my way all the kids either wore non uniform or something dark grey.

As someone who loves tartan I think they're perfectly acceptable.
On the question above, I'd love to get myself one but not being Scottish I'd feel a bit of a fraud. |
