Yes, security lock down the staycity aparthotel in Manchester on an evening, and interrogate everyone who comes through the doors through the late night/ early hours, even when the numbers entering match the booking, saying “there is no additional names on the booking” despite never being asked to provide them.
The one in York was fine though. |

We only book apartments now for this reason, so much easier having your own separate door,
not because we have been refused guests at hotel meets before it just avoids the reception staff knowingly eyeying you all up. |

I think you have to be careful booking rooms in any central hotels in vibrant party/stag/hen do towns. Seems a growing trend to have security on later at night on the doors with a copy of the residents list. If your names not down your not getting in |

This!!!
Too many people booking a hotel room but using it after club/pub to carry on shenanigans with multiple extra perps. Don't want to sound like an old cardigan but have been on the other side of a paper thin hotel wall trying to sleep too many times because of this. Deffo not a swinger issue just shame it gets caught up in it. |

Once had a meet at a hotel, was a couple plus 3 guys (including me)
One of the lads had booked a premier inn, so we all met in the pub next door.
Turns out he was a very chatty guy and had no qualms when he’d checked in earlier in telling the staff what was planned.
We all got a smile and a wink as we went through reception back to the room |

No, never had a problem, but I pick hotels that it wouldn't be an issue, easy access to rooms, via key card or reception. Majority of chain hotels don't even batter one eyelid.
I have had someone knock on the door one late evening about the noise. Looking back it was with a particularly local lady, a number of years ago now. |

Nope. We've never had an issue. We were definitely worried the first time brining a couple back to our room though. We thought we were going to get stopped before going up.
Like most people in this post have said, chain Hotels don't really bat an eye. |
