Just thinking why there are no naturist beaches in the north west except in north wales are there any local

apparently Walney Island has some nude sunbathing in the North nature reserve well past the airfield.

I don't know for sure but I recall someone saying nude sunbathing was tolerated

Sometimes about having to park up and carrying in your mat & picnic, I think it's quite remote

Neve been myself so I will leave you to research the facts & legalities lol

I think it's a naturist camp site - again not been myself but worth your attention

Presumably because it’s usually pissing it down up here.

But BN informs me that Roanhead beach near Barrow and Lytham St Anne’s both have “unofficial” naturist beaches. Whatever that means.

You can bathe naked on any beach in England and Wales.

A bit of discretion is a good idea. There are many plenty of quiet sand dunes at a lot of beaches.

There is no law that says you cannot be naked.

Studland is an official naturist beach. Lots of naturists despise dogging due to the bad rep it brings to the beach.

Exactly this. Went to a naturist beach in the south west last week, enjoyed it so much we’re going to enjoy being nude on our own beach in Westward Ho. Just don’t be a dick or make a song and dance about it, you’ll be left alone to enjoy it.
