We have a fishing pool and camping area in Staffordshire close to alton towers st101eu area if anyone need a stop off. Basic but toilets hotwate shower coming soon x £20 24 hours. Including fishing. X cheaper on longer stays. |

I'm a single pringles but really thinking about getting a camper an as my only transport. What would everyone recommend. The T4 etc seem to be really popular but I'm not sure. I'd like to be able to stand up in it and use it as a remote office as well |

T4s aren't the most reliable (due to age) unless you're prepared to throw £££ at it, T5s get a bad rap but they're really not that bad and feel like modern vehicle to drive, neither have the headroom for standing so a pop top would be beneficial, you could go down the merc sprinter/crafter route but then parking can be more limited due to heigh (sprinters have the better engine)

I have a T4. Love it, spent a small fortune on it getting it sprayed etc... wouldn't change it for anything. So many smiles per miles.
And I live on the north Devon coast so I'm very lucky. Starry skies and open fires. Peeeeerfect! |
