I can’t recommend a salon for you, because I’m not familiar with Brighton, but I will encourage you to go ahead with the waxing if you want to- don’t let anyone tell you it’s “too painful”, it’s really not that bad, and get’s easier over time as the hair growth thins with regular appointments. It’s a far superior finish than shaving, and needs repeating far less frequently- definitely a game changing decision that I’m very happy I made.
My only recommendation is to find an aesthetician who has been trained in male waxing- they’ll use slightly different waxes than for women which are better suited for us gents, also don’t be afraid to shop around to find someone you’re able to be relaxed and comfortable with- it’ll make it less awkward as well as less physically uncomfortable. |

That’s never been a concern for me, but it’s very much not a sexually enjoyable process in any way. Your aesthetician is not touching you in any kind of sensual way, that are there to do a job and that’s it-plus the setting/circumstances are going to be more reminiscent of a dental appointment than a rub-and-tug massage parlour.
If you try to make it a sexual thing you’re going to get thrown out and possibly have the police called on you! I’m sure that if you can go to the GP for a prostate/hernia check and behave yourself, you won’t have anything to worry about at a waxing appointment either! |
