Each to their own, but there is no safe sex, only safer sex. Testing should be good practise, not about if someone thinks they may have been exposed or not. |

In practice - Safe only.
I add the qualifier "in practice" because there are routes to acceptable BB with us, but it's a vanishingly small number of playmates who have the interest and longevity to meet the essential criteria, and even fewer who would meet the desirable criteria and actually be selected for it.
So for all practical intents and purposes, safe only. And enforced to the point where we have lost meets we really wanted to have; some literally at the point where genitals are actually lined up for entry, because this issue wasn't resolved. |

Plus take PrEP (you can take daily or event based), to reduce risk of HIV infection.
It is surprising how many sexually active people do not know some of the above.

This advice is good.
Absolutely amazed at some of the comments here that seem to think condoms are the only way.
Condoms are safer sex practice and NOT safe sex.
If you have any intercourse or even close bodily contact then you should be tested regularly.
Taking PrEP is excellent protection for HIV and on par with condom use.
Many people can have an STI with no symptoms showing.
Get tested and get peace of mind with it. |
