As for motivation, who knows, no one will ever publically admit to doing crap like that so why speculate. And if you think that it's fake then just block and delete. |

The problem with this site is because people are so fixated on time wsters when they do get a genuine offer they are always in two minds
I remember a while ago I booked a hotel to meet a guy who canceled the meet last min so I looked for someone else to meet, id been chatting to a guy on and off for a few days and I mailed him asking if he was free and if he wanted to meet explaining the situation and he agreed to meet but never turned up, when I mailed him the next day asking where he had got to he told me he had never had a woman mail him on here before and felt it was a wind up so he didn't bother going, then went onto asking if I really did have a hotel and was I being genuine
I think that happens a lot, men see it as to good to be true so probably is a piss take |

I would at least want a phone number so I could be sure it wasn't a geeza and enough of the address so that I did not have to knock on every door in the immediate vicinity. Probably tricky explaining to strangers that I'd come for a shag, and yes it's true as I have the postcode. The next step from there is to fuck Fab off and just take to the streets door knocking and offering your services until you get your end away or end up in A&E. It is all very well talking of time wasters and people refusing genuine meets when offered on a plate, but I'd need slightly more of a guarantee before venturing out with a trusty postcode. |

You get a feel what the person is like chatting on here or via text and a lot of people have a social meet somewhere public first to make sure there meeting someone sane normal and with out a straight jacket |

not sure how it mitigates the timewasters cant see how it avoids meeting a stalker type either ,bear in mind in my case there had been zero conversation . I was not suggesting it wrong to invite to house after a period of getting to know and a phone call or two |

I find it quite odd that now we are all grown up we forget that some of us in our youth probably met someone at a nightclub, party etc and had sex with them the same night....no worries of strangers, stalkers, wierdos etc at the time! I accept with age comes caution and I am aware of some awful experiences some people on here have had, but we all have our "ways" and should stick with what is comfortable and works for us

Same here. I give a postcode, to give an idea where I am, but house number goes by text, not on here. I certainly find this seperates the 'serious' from the less so. Its amazing how many go 'quiet' after you explain that to them! |

True, but would you go if you had never spoken to the person and just had a postcode? Going to a stranger's house or inviting a stranger to yours is always risky, but no harm in mitigating that risk with a conversation on the phone or maybe if unsure a public meet first, or going to a club etc. |

But the FACT was that he did say he only got a postcode. Calling his question 'inane' was not particularly nice and very judgemental. From what he said in the original post I instantly thought it was not a genuine offer and took it as that. |
