What makes you answer a message

Hi,
I wonder if you want to share what triggers you in a message/person to actually answer? I know first impression etc but if you need to define something what it would be? |

A message with some thought, substance, effort and something about you and why you're messaging us. Also, if there's no face pics on your profile then a face picture and full body image picture. If you don't sell yourself you are unlikely to get a response. |

Their ability to read and comprehend as evidenced by being my type as defined in my verbose profile.
Sending a thoughtful message not one of those hi how are you?, care to chat?, faf?, are you free now? or similarly unique messages. |

Well, being something better than the usual hi, how are you, u free now, kind of thoughtless dribble might avoid message going straight in the bin but alas, those are few and far between.  |

Nothing makes me answer a message I just do it out of common courtesy because we don’t get many and I have plenty of time so I answer all messages .
But to be honest most messages to us don’t really warrant a reply so I reply kind for kind.
For example how do you reply to a “nice tits” message?
No hi or _ello so they get a simple but effective “_ello and thanks”.
It’s fab and it’s fun.

Usually a rubbish first message equals a rubbish profile.the two together get deleted.
You would think people are intelligent enough to put in a little effort.its a very crowded pool especially for single males,you get out what you put in.

Cut and paste stands out a mile. As do the generic “hi” brigade.
A message that either tells us something about them, especially if linked back to our profile to show they've read it, gets a reply.
I’d like to think i’m worth 30 seconds of effort.  |

I like their pics and they've written a decent bio
Or they've sent a well thought out message, with a bit of humour and that shows they're interested in me,rather than sending everyone within 40 miles a message. |

Anyone that has clearly taken the time to read our profile, sends a face pic and expresses how much they like lasagne and garlic bread will get a response from us

If a message from a forum post, I will reply.
If they have read my profile, send a decent message and have a good bio/pictures themselves then I do reply.
I don't reply to messages like "hi, nice undies, how are you finding the site, had fun recently" |

I look at the profile before I read the message..
1) having a profile picture that is not a dick
2) having pictures on profile that are not all dicks
3) having something written in the profile
4) being within my location range
5) being able to accomodate
And then I read the message. Showing some charm, intelligence and not
A) FAF
B) Are you free now
C) Hi
D) How are you?
E) Can I ask you a question?
And no dick pics in the message. |

The ones we delete are ones where we know from that message or profile pic we aren’t going to connect at all.
Dick pics, one liners, ‘hi’, can I ask you a question? messages just get deleted.
If there’s some thought gone into the message then we’ll reply.

I wear them occasionally. You need to look at my pictures and you will see that I own and wear them |

A reasonably polite message that is clearly not a generic to everyone thing and shows some considered effort...will get a response of some kind
Anything else can get in the bin.
