I used to go to Northampton for meets and could drive it in about an hour and a half.
But to be honest, distance does not bother me just makes it more of an adventure. |

Completely depends on who i’d be meeting and how much i want to meet her. Years ago i got chatting on line to a woman in America and after several months of regular chatting we started discussing meeting each other and i was planning to travel there to meet her but it didn’t work out and we stopped talking before i was able to travel. I’d definitely have gone there though if we hadn’t stopped chatting. |

"How far are people generally willing to travel for meets? I think hours would be a 2 hour drive for the right person/event
Would like to hear people preferences "
A couple of hours sounds about right..

I’m surprised so many people are saying one or two hours max, that’s not very far at all and i’d have thought people would be prepared to travel much further than that considering the fun they could potentially have when they get there. We live on a small island and it’s possible for most people to get anywhere on the island in less than 6 hours so I don’t see why anywhere in UK is too far. I’ve driven for 6 hours to go to business meetings so I’d definitely travel that far for a meet if I thought it was going to be worth it. It seems like you’re potentially missing out on a lot of great meets if you’re limiting yourself to only travelling for 2 hours max. |
