Love the carry on films! Have they aged well? Definitely not!
Were they insulting or deemed incorrect at the time? Definitely not!
Hopefully they aren’t just another element in the past that’s censored due to woke views and easily insulted state |

As a kid I was sent to bed (my bedtime) when Carry on Camping came on the telly. So it’s now something of a favourite due to that memory. I also have a soft spot for Carry on at your convenience.
However as a film fan I think Carry on Screaming is the best one. |

Carry on Cowboy was my favourite. No, wait, Carry on Screaming was my favourite. I used to go to the cinema alone when I was a tiny tot. When I was about 7 I saw a double bill of these two movies. I watched over and over the entire day until about 11pm when I finally went home. Must have seen them both three times. I just loved Sid James as the Rumpo Kid. Very cool. (Yes, my parents were neglectful!) |

Sixth.. It seems we've discovered an underground swingers favourite! The wicked Ms Fielding obviously wore full corset/basque etc beneath her red velvet dress at all times and regularly awoke Oddbod & Junior for filthy sex sessions..
Or was that just the version I watched..

I simply adore all of the Carry Ons… and have done since my childhood. I know all the stories, and have seen them all many times, but never tire of them.
For me, it is a toss up between Khyber and Screaming. The historical ones are sooo much better than the contemporary ones; they never date - well the humour might, but they are still funny.
