There's a woman in this area has put a couple of profiles up asking (quote) "I AM looking to be wined and dined and bought gifts" I replied and she asked me what I would get her in the way of gifts. What do people think about this? - is it a quite legitimate type of relationship, ie Sugar Daddy and girl, or is it exploitative and verging on prostitution?

i think it fills a niche for 2 differing parties but think prostitution is too strong a term for it.

Some will see this as prostitution/exploitation. Whilst others will see it as a sugar daddy type of thing where BOTH parties agree up front what is allowable! But if it bothers you that much, just block and move on!

no, it doesn't bother me, I'm just curious as to how it fits into the concept of swinging. I certainly wouldn't take on that kind of relationship myself - i'm much too mean!

too often a person and their money is too easily parted, least they are up front..

many are not and people learn a hard way.

Maybe your first gift to her should be membership to sugar-daddy.com.

it all depends on how the "gift" was perceived.

if it was arranged that the gift would be given at a meal or a social meeting then whatever floats your boat. However, if it was aagreed that the gift will be given in exchange for sexual favours then imo thats prostitution and should be reported

Interesting you use the word "relationship", it's not is it. Someone can ask for what they want to get a meet. "Do one sweetheart!" may make them reconsider.

Either way you have the right to refuse and ignore!

Yes.

To the OP...report the profile as it is against site rules

I think being asked for money does, but expecting a gift and a meal are probably different.

Cheeky, but certainly not illegal.
