I will look but not stare or comment once I've looked I do tend to look at the face I find that you sometimes get get a look of approval from them afterwards. Yes it’s ok to look. But don’t leer.
We are all human there are certain instincts that are inbuilt. But the ability to control what we do once we have had a look is possible.
The stock reply from some men “well she wouldn’t wear clothes like that if she didn’t want you to look”….without a single realisation of the bias in that statement and the assumptions being made.
When I get ready for work and I need to make myself presentable, am I doing it for the passers by on my commute, or the staff in the coffee shop? No I’m doing it for my clients.
When you pass a lady who is showing some cleavage perhaps she is on her way to a date, who she wants to look, but doesn’t want everyone on the way there and back to also be looking.
Some ladies like it most won’t, the same as wolf whistling, beeping your van horn, comments that wouldn’t be made to a man in the same situation.
If you are straight man and want to know what it feels like to be ogled, have inappropriate comments made or have your personal space invaded go to a gay club/bar. I guarantee someone will make you feel uncomfortable by the end of the night. |

I generally wear something on a daily basis that shows my cleavage!
I have no problem with people looking!
On a few occasions it has become uncomfortable for example being obviously followed around a well known supermarket but I will not let that put me of wearing what I like and on the most part enjoying the attention lol |
